It's June 7 and there are many lucky things about the "7" in life. For one thing, it is 7 -2011! That is like that fast food place, 7-11. So today we quickly got approved and signed up for a luxorious apartment in Rio Rancho. With a pool! *two pools!* It is a pinch-me moment! I am like, there is no thing like this in NYC for less than 2,000! And now my wife is lecturing me about behavior and how i have to keep the place clean. I am thinking, man, it is just me, but i am thinking she is blaming ME for not keeping this hotel room clean. She says no, don't go into the blame mode. Phew. I am just already thinking on one hand what a commitment to one year with my name on it apartment! And at the same time, when can i fly back to NYC to stay at a hostel to meet with old buds for New Years Eve or will we be able to show friends around NYC when now i will be LIVING in the LAND OF ENCHANMENT?! and add to that, the ways that her job, and now OUR apartment ranked first, and my attempt AT a job was wishy washey, and soon will be addressed as...well, Diane could not get a job. When what she is saying is, well never mind getting a FULL time job, work on getting a small job, any job, part time nights so you can watch our lovely princess until her school starts in early August. I think.
But the sunset tonite is not clouded with ash. That was a test i believe. Airplane site and flight, and the last 3 days have ended with evenings with clouds of Arizona smoke and with the stinky smell of Arizona and perhaps Texas fires! Yep, very drought-ful. Scary, But not tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, or floods. PHEW! another good thing.
So well i don't want to say HOPE i want to say MIRACULOUS and amazing AMAZING! Life is sweet and good. My skin is lizard dry from the air, but my heart is beating well and strong.
